WHAT IS : PADI's eLearning system is an innovative new program designed to make your Scubaworld PADI diving course training easier, more efficient and saves you valuable Costa Blanca diving time during your vacation. Designed for the busy diver, the Scubaworld PADI eLearning system provides interactive scuba diver education on the Internet. Accessible so far in English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Italian and Dutch language from any on-line computer anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day and supported by Scubaworld professional instructors with feedback to support you (in English, Dutch or German)with guidance and help about the topic you are studying. Virtual modelling simulations and video clips makes your PADI scuba diving course Scubaworld knowledge development a "piece of cake" and it's controlled by your personal pace only!
HOW DOES WORK: After enrolling the Scubaworld PADI course, PADI's eLearning system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress, and review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace. Also, you will be able to complete eLearning entirely on your own schedule-there are no class times or places to meet. eLearing will keep track of your progress, and you can begin again where you left-off last time.
ELearning utilizes multimedia and communications resources available on the Internet to enhance the experience of learning how to dive. This includes: " Multimedia content, including pictures and video clips. " Links to more-detailed explanations of relevant information. " Instant feedback on quizzes and tests (the Website will correct your tests for you, and indicate the correct answer if you did not select it). " Contact with dive instructors from Scubaworld (the dive center you will be affiliated with). " A narrator, to read the course information aloud to you. " Access to dive tables. " Links to equipment knowledge and understanding (e.g. defogger and an extra strap to consider also buying when buying a new mask).
eLearning will challenge you to master (and, through testing, demonstrate) course material. Through PADI's interactive web-based program, you'll hear, read and see the same material other Scubaworld student divers receive from interacting with the PADI Open Water Diver Manual and Video Multimedia in Scubaworld dive centre classroom. The difference is that Knowledge Reviews, Quizzes and the Final Exam are corrected and mediated online. This will demonstrate your knowledge development mastery and it's done at your convenience. The courses are not without a little bit of fun, though, too--the multimedia content helps to keep things lively and interesting.
When you're here at the Scubaworld Divecentre we start with a quick review and after this you're ready to enrol the Scubaworld in-water part of the course.

Paper version home study:
If you prefer to do the Academic part of the course with a course manual in paper form plus course DVD you can also choose for the normal version of the course . Our recommendation is that we send over the study materials so you can prepare with book and DVD in advanced before you come to Spain. This way you can also study in your own pace. The only difference is that we examine the knowledge reviews and do the exams over here instead of online. Just send us an email for more details.
Which way you choose to follow your course we at Scubaworld would be glad to help you to get your (next) PADI dive certification
