Equipment service Servicing your dive regulators and buoyancy control devices (BCDs) regularly is crucial for a safe and enjoyable diving experience. Regulators and BCDs are your lifelines underwater. Regular servicing ensures that they function correctly, providing you with breathable air and proper buoyancy control. Regular servicing can extend the lifespan of your dive gear and prevent them from becoming major problems that could lead to costly repairs or replacements or fatal accidents. Most dive equipment manufacturers recommend regular servicing to maintain warranty coverage and ensure safety. For example, Scubapro equipment need to be inspected every 2 years or after 100 dives. Dive tank inspection is mandatory in Spain Regular inspection of your dive cylinders is essential for several reasons. Dive cylinders are subjected to high-pressure gases, and any structural weaknesses or damages can lead to catastrophic failures. Both the interior and exterior of dive cylinders can corrode over time due to exposure to water and air. The valve is a critical component of the dive cylinder, and its proper functioning is essential for your safety. Inspections check for valve leaks, wear, and other issues.Inspections typically include visual inspections, hydrostatic tests, and internal inspections. These procedures help ensure that your dive cylinders are safe, reliable, and ready for your underwater adventures. Many countries have regulations that require dive cylinders to be inspected and tested periodically. Regular inspections ensure that your cylinders comply with these regulations. Like here in Spain, tanks must be hydrostatic tested every 5 years. The years in between the tanks need to be visual inspected. You’ll become your own full original PADI course study materials, wether you choose e-Learning or paper manual. Where necessary we use a pool for confined water sessions instead of going direct in the sea to save pool costs, so you can practice and gain confidence. By the try dives, scuba diver and Padi open water diver course is a dive insurance during the course included.. Rental equipment is included during all recreational courses courses so no hidden costs!
