The Advanced Open Water Diver course
helps
you
increase
your
confidence
and
build
your
scuba
skills
so
you
can
become
more
comfortable
in
the
water.
This
is
a
great
way
to
get
more
dives
under
your
belt
while
continuing
to
learn
under
the
supervision
of
your
PADI
Instructor.
This
course
builds
on
what
you've
learned
and
develops
new
capabilities
by
introducing
you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.
The Adventures in Diving program
offers
both
the
Adventure
Diver
and
Advanced
Open
Water
Diver
certifications.
The
Advanced
Open
Water
course
entails
five
dives:
navigation,
deep
and
three
“elective”
dives.
The
adventure
diver
course
entails
any
three
adventure
dives,
both
courses
are
preceded
by
a
short
classroom
session
which
covers
the
details
of
the
upcoming
dives.
While
doing
the
advanced
open
water
diver
course
here
on
the
Costa
Blanca
Scubaworld
will
concentrate
on
the
growth
of
your
basic
skills
plus
essential
skills
such
as
navigation
and
buoyancy
control
and
deep
diving
skills.
Your
course
will
be
personally
overseen
by
one
of
our
experienced
PADI
instructors
from
helping with the independent study modules through to the practical skills development.
The Advanced Open Water Diver program
allows
student
divers
to
customize
their
training
path
and
learn
various
underwater
tasks
that
broaden
their
awareness
of
the
environment
and
their
capabilities
as
divers.
The
course
emphasizes
practical
application
rather
than
heavy
theory.
After
your
five
dives,
you'll
be
more
experienced,
feel
more
comfortable
in
the
water
and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

Pre-Requisites

PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

A valid medical statement (max 1yr old)
•
Minimum age is15.(12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
Recommended Course Hours: 15
Minimum Open Water Training: five dives over two days

Open
Water
Diver
is
certified
to
dive
with
another
certified
diver.
To
a
maximum depth of 40 meters/ 130 feet

You

of
moving
onto
the
PADI
Rescue

you
will
learn
to
assist
other
divers
and
prevent
and
manage
likely
problems.
Alternatively
build
experience
in
areas
of
your
specific
interest
by
taking
PADI

to
help
you
qualify
for
PADI
Master
Scuba
Diver,

prestigious non-teaching rating within PADI.
