Divers

dive
emergencies.

a
PADI
Rescue
Diver
you'll

in
the
water
and
most

you're
now

real

safety

of
all
who

this
course
is
serious,
it
is
an
enjoyable

build
your
confidence.

rescue
scenarios

deal
with
you'll
learn and get to practice your skills as a competent diver.
The
Rescue
diver
course
consists
of
classroom,
pool
and
open
water
training.
Knowledge
Development
is
based
on
a
self-study
method,
allowing
you
to
study
in
your
own
time,
at
your
own
pace.
Home
study
is
backed
up
by
Academic
sessions
with
a
PADI
Instructor,
to
ensure
full
understanding
of
Rescue
theory.

theoretical
part

During the five open water sessions you'll cover:

Self-rescue and diver stress
•
AED and emergency oxygen delivery systems
•

missing diver procedures

surfacing the unconscious diver

Prerequisites:
· PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent certification
· Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver)
·
Successful
completion
of
a
sanctioned
CPR
program
within
the
past
24
months.
The
Emergency
First
Response
Primary
Care
(CPR)
and
Secondary
Care
(First
Aid)
courses
meet
these
requirements.
All
students
must
complete
a
PADI
Medical
Questionnaire
prior to participating in the course.
